Delete your RoofSection Studio account

For the RoofSection Studio website, iPhone and iPad app, and Android app

You can delete your RoofSection Studio account, and the data stored with it, at any time. It takes effect right away and can't be undone.

In the app or on the website

Open RoofSection Studio (the app, or roofsectionstudio.com) and sign in.
Tap or click your account icon at the top right, then choose Profile.
At the bottom of your profile, choose Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, you'll confirm with Apple once more.

By email

If you can't sign in, email support@roofsectionstudio.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm when it's done, usually within a few days.

What's deleted

Your account and sign-in (email, or your Apple or Google sign-in link)
Your profile: name and phone number
All your saved roof sections
Your Pro plan: a subscription bought on the website is canceled right away and won't renew

What's kept, and for how long

Payment records: invoices and payment records kept by our payment processor (Stripe) as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Backups and logs: our service providers may keep backups or logs for a limited time before they're overwritten.
App Store and Google Play subscriptions: Pro bought in the iPhone or Android app is billed by Apple or Google, and deleting your account doesn't cancel it. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions so it doesn't renew. The store keeps its own purchase records.

Sections open on your phone or computer aren't stored with your account, and signing out clears them from the device.
